Wolfe Brothers bring the country to Agfest

It has been five years since the Country Music band the Wolfe Brothers visited Agfest.

Originally from Hobart, brothers, Nick and Tom Wolfe, along with guitarist Brodie Rainbird, have met with success after being runners-up in Australia's Got Talent in 2012.

Since then, they have released two albums, were nominated for four Australian country music awards in 2013 and won the New Artist of the year award at the 2014 Country Music Channel Awards.

Have I mentioned that Lee Kernaghan invited them to tour Australia with him several times?

Nick Wolfe said that he was glad to be back amongst familiar faces.

"In the early days when we put out our first EP at Agfest it helped get us up off the ground," he said.

"We sold a lot of them here, we really appreciate the local support."

Guitarist Brodie Rainbird said that the band is looking forward to going over to the US and "testing the waters" in June.

"We want to take our Tassie brand of country over to the US and win over the hearts of the Yanks."

Their third studio album "The Crazy Life" is set to be released June three.
