Agfest Field Days are excited to announce the introduction of online ticketing and the addition of a family pass in 2017!
We have done considerable research over the past 2 years and believe this service will benefit all of our stakeholders. To celebrate the introduction of online ticketing, the Agfest Committee is offering the Ultimate Agfest Experience to one lucky patron who purchases their tickets on line before April 12. This is valued at $500 and consists of vouchers to the value of $200 to be spent with our Exhibitors, a Helicopter flight for 4 and $100 of vouchers for food vendors. In addition, Agfest will cover all booking fees for 2017 tickets purchased in this way.
Agfest, is proud of its reputation as a great day out with the family, and so we have not only held children pricing as per the past five years but also introduced a family pass – only available via online ticketing!
Agfest admission fees for 2017 are;
ONLINE $20 adults, $5 children over 5 years – 15 years and children under 5 years – free
Family Pass – two adults, three children $50 – available online only!
AT THE GATE
$25 adults, $5 children over 5 years -15 years and children under 5 years – free
Chairman, Kate Birch confirmed “It has been five years since our last price increase and it is not a decision that has been taken lightly. Each year we experience increased operating costs and additional increases for property maintenance and improvements to the Quercus Park site, we are also consistently striving to improve our event for patrons, exhibitors and sponsors alike, all of which is reliant on the income we generate. We pride ourselves on the fact that this Tasmanian event is run by Tasmanian Rural Youth members and volunteers and is entirely self-sustaining as we do not receive Government funding.”
“The online ticketing system has been trialled and ensured to be an effective, fast and reliable service. Whilst we recommend that patrons purchase their tickets before arriving on site if they forget to do so they can purchase tickets via their smartphone upon arrival – it is that quick!”
The online are available via the website www.agfest.com.au and also available via the Agfest official Facebook page.
In support of our Rural Youth Clubs throughout the state, you can also purchase your Agfest tickets from your local club where $5 from every ticket (adult and children passes only) contributes to fundraising for the club. Most Rural Youth clubs have a presence within your committee by engaging with the local agricultural show, school fairs, community work and networking – this initiative enables clubs to continue to support their local communities through their activities. Participating clubs will be announced March 2017.
