A successful Agfest Annual Meeting held on the 8th of July 2017 saw a new executive committee elected for Agfest 2018.

2018 Agfest Committee Elected

A successful Agfest Annual Meeting held on the 8th July 2017 saw a new executive committee elected for Agfest 2018.

We are excited to announce that Owen Woolley was unanimously voted the Agfest Chairman for 2018. Mr Woolley states "It has been an ambition of mine ever since I first volunteered in 2009 to become Chairman, over the years I have progressed through a number of different roles to gain the knowledge required to fulfil the role."


As well as delivering the Agfest we all know and love with his team Mr Woolley plans to "continue to grow the event by further developing Quercus Rural Youth Park, the Agfest site, to ensure the best experience is had by all attending. I also want to ensure that younger members are supported and that the passion and knowledge is passed on the next generation of volunteers so that Agfest will be able to be enjoyed for many years to come."


The full executive team consists of:

  • Vice Chairman - Dale Hayers
  • Operations Manager - Jake Williams
  • Exhibitor Manager - Ethan Williams 
  • Finance Manager - Sarah Revell
  • Saftey and Compliance Manager - Josh Taylor
  • Media and Promotions Manager - Breeanna House
  • Features Manager - Kara Crosswell
  • State President - Ashley Evans
  • Rural Youth Member - Nicole Elliott

"We have built a really strong committee and it is really exciting time for the Agfest event. The new committee look forward to delivering another top notch Field Days. Agfest 2018 is an event that everybody should be pencilling in their calendars." Said Mr Hayers.

Members are looking forward to Agfest Brainstorming on August 4th, 5th and 6th, where planning for the 2018 event commences.
