Wet Weather Forecast again for this year’s Agfest

The fashion piece for patrons at this years Agfest will be muddy gumboots again as rain is expected.

Robert Luck, manager of Allgoods, says they are prepared, “we move more boots if it rains but even when it doesn’t, they fly off the shelf.’

The three-day event, run by Rural Youth Tasmania, is one of the top field day events in Australia which brings together the Tasmanian agriculture community.

Today’s forecast will see a sunny start to the day but a very high chance of rain developing in the afternoon and evening with a top of 19.

Remember to rug up for a windy and chilly Friday with a top of 13 and a very high chance of rain in the morning, continuing on into the afternoon.

The final day of Agfest is forecasted be a still windy but slightly warmer day hoping to find 15 degrees amid possible rain in the afternoon and night.

The field days event is expecting over 60,000 people to attend the three day event.
