JF Machinery Deals with the High Demand Following the Effects of Covid-19

Supplying a full range of equipment at any one time is difficult. However, the level of current activity is nothing if not exciting

JF Machinery distributes heavy moving machinery for the construction and agricultural sectors. The Tasmanian company is proudly multi-franchised and privately owned.

To JF Machinery, Agfest is a tradition. The company has been operating for 25 years and attending for 16 of those years.

To them Agfest means catching up with existing customers and meeting new clients, all in one location over a matter of a few days.

Following the effects of Covid-19 there has been a worldwide shortage of equipment and components alongside shipping issues.

“There are component shortages world-wide, North America and Europe in particular, it’s not just Australia”, says Keith Johnstone of JF Machinery.

International factories are now producing a record amont of construction equipment. Hence, Australian sales since Covid-19 have ramped up with manufacturers now selling more than they can make.

Whilst dealing with the unprecedented demand can, at times, be trying, “the level of activity is exciting”, says Keith.
