Lee Davis runs LD Horsemanship, specialising in developing skills with young horses, getting them comfortable with a saddle, and eventually comfortable enough to be ridden.
Lee left working in a factory for living a life surrounded by horses.
“Just recently I quit my job and threw myself into the world of vulnerability. The amount of doors that have opened has been amazing and Agfest have been a great supporter”.
Lee says Agfest not only allows him to display who he is, but also lets the public understand a little bit more about horsemanship and the connection between rider and horse.
It’s obvious when watching Lee and his horse Squizzy, that there is an unbreakable bond between the two.
Squizzy’s previous owner, located in Parks in NSW, even gave Squizzy to Lee for free after witnessing their strong connection.
“People couldn’t believe how well we worked together”.
Lee and Squizzy have been putting on demonstrations through Agfest, with a focus on horse groundwork. One demonstration even including a large skipping rope.
To see Lee and Squizzy in action head to the equine arena on Thursday at 12.15 pm, Friday at 12.00 Midday and at Saturday 2.15pm.
