When is the event?
The event is open to the public on the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday of May. In 2019 dates are 2nd, 3rd & 4th May.
Who runs Agfest?
Agfest has been proudly organised by Rural Youth Tasmania since 1983. Rural Youth Tasmania, a non-profit organisation whose members are aged between 15 and 30 years of age. The Agfest Committee is made up of volunteer positions, filled with approximately 60 Rural Youth Members and are supported by a team of 6 staff.
Where is the event held?
The event is held at Quercus Park, 415 Oaks Road, Carrick, Tasmania. Quercus Park is owned by Rural Youth Tasmania and can be hired for other events throughout the year such as weddings, product launches, machinery and equipment training, equestrian events just to name a few. Can I camp in the car park overnight?
Overnight stays are not permitted within the property. Please see the accommodation links for alternate solutions.
Can I bring my dog?
No pets allowed except for trained service animals
Do you have disabled parking?
We have disabled parking available in all patron car parks, please ensure your approved permit is displayed as you enter the car park and our car park attendants will direct you to the designated parking area.
How can I obtain the official guide and event site map?
This will be available in the Tasmania Country newspaper on Friday 27th April, through the gate as you enter the event or on our website on 1st May.
Do you have multiple day passes?
Three day pass for patrons is available online only through Early Bird Ticket Purchases.
Do you offer a concession discount?
Only for the elderly, Seniors Card and Age Pension Card holders can either purchased online saving $5 per ticket or tickets can be purchase at the gate for $20 each. Card must be shown on entry.
Do you accept companion cards?
Support person accompanying a Person with a disability presenting a Companion card is free entry.
What are your opening hours?
The Car Park opens at 6:00am, Ticket Boxes and entry gates open 8:00am. The event closes at 5pm daily.
Do buses run to and from the event?

Do you have a parcel service at the event?
For only $2 you can store your parcels whilst you continue shopping or let us organise your item/s be picked up from the place of purchase and delivered to the collection points in the car parks. More information available in the Official Guide page 15.
Will there be scenic helicopter flights at this years event?
Rotorlift Aviation will again be running a scenic flight service at this years event. Visit site at S02 South Street for flight costs and further details.
Do you have mobility scooters available to hire?
Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to source a supplier to hire mobility scooters at the event.
