A Home Grown Agfest Success Story

Simon Martin is back for the 20th year at Agfest, still just as eager as he was the first year.

Agfest success story Simon Martin Whips & Leathercraft is back at Agfest for their twentieth year.

From its inception as a hobby project in Simon’s Devonport garage in 2002, it quickly became a full fledged company in 2004, attending Agfest the same year with a humble 3 x 3 meter stall. Simon Martin has grown the company into where it is today, sitting comfortably on Main Road with a 15 x 20 marquee.

Simon’s been coming to Agfest since he was 21, then the Event’s youngest exhibitor. It’s now one the most important dates in his calendar, a change to touch base and get feedback from old and new customers from around Tassie and visitors from the rest of the country.

Simon says he’ll start getting ready for next year’s Agfest as soon as this one ends.

Find out more about Simon and his company over at M83 on Main Road.
