Mitsubishi unleashes new generation Triton on 4WD Track

Mitsubishi have taken to the Peter Brock 4-Wheel Drive Track to showcase the capabilities of its latest Triton GLS and GSR models.

Described by the Mitsubishi team as "rugged luxury", the new Triton features the latest in safety technology, with eight airbags and multiple road and traffic sensor settings included for the family's piece of mind.

The new model is bigger and bolder, with increased cabin and passenger space and a larger information display screen to make it the perfect office away from home, all whilst being driven by a big 150-kilowatt engine.

It also acts as the first ute in Australia to meet Euro 6 fuel economy compliance and be awarded a 5-star ANCAP rating.

The stats might be impressive, but it's the Triton's performance on the Peter Brock track that thrilled the Agfest spectators.

"It's a pretty exciting spectacle to see what these vehicles can do, especially for those who have a 4-wheel drive of their own or are looking to get into it," says Dylan, who's back for his fourth Agfest.
