Toys and tools to improve your mental health

Meet Sensory Hub, winner of the best Business and Lifestyle site at Agfest 2024.

Helping people with disabilities and mental health issues is the aim of Sensory Hub, a family-run business that offers tools and practical help to generate a conversation about mind and body balance.

Emma Thompson from Sensory Hub says the award shows a family effort.

“My parents and grandparents are here, we set the site up over one day. Last year we had a great crowd, so this time we wanted to do something that invited people in to try our samples and have a go”.

Here you’ll find simple objects like a chain spinner that is designed to help people regulate their emotions and stay calm at times of stress.

When they had a call announcing the award, Emma says she was thrilled.

“We didn’t know about the process and we are so excited”, she says.

As the winners of this award, Emma and her family are guaranteed a spot for next year’s Agfest.

If you are after a mental break, head to Site E02 and test your senses.
