Eye in the Sky enables next generation farming

Next generation GPS systems at Midland Tractors “makes things a lot easier.”

At Agfest 2024, Midland Tractors are debuting new the John Deere G5 GPS unit, a next generation GPS receiver and display.

“John Deere is the only brand on the market that offers an integrated solution, so we are green on green” says Matt Schofield, from Midland Tractors.

This new technology reduces operation costs and saves fuel, and enables functionality of John Deere Precision Ag systems. The benefits include straightening rows, reducing overlap, recording data, and lots more.

The family-owned business has been coming to Agfest for close to 30 years and its an essential date in their calendar. As well as showcasing their new products, the event is a “Good chance to catch up with a lot of our customers,” says Matt.

After getting through COVID-19, “things are looking up”. And with such exciting new products, it is easy to see why.
