The Australian Border Force is here at Agfest to let the community know about all the possibilities they have to offer.

Have you ever considered a career with the Australian Border Force?

This year at Agfest, the Border Force team is endeavouring to get the word out about employment opportunities for Tasmanians.

Inspector for Regional Operations, Dan De Martinis says the relaunch of Hobart International Airport, has created a huge interest in travel to Tasmania and with that, local job opportunities are available.

“Agfest is a great opportunity to engage with the community, and we just want to reach out and let the community know that we’re here and there’s opportunities here”, Dan says.

Many associate the Australian Border Force with the airport, but there are so many different roles within the Border Force, like detector dog units, maritime units, and drone units just to name a few.
