Agfest Field Days

Rural Alive and Well Inc. Tasmania Donation
On Friday May 31, Sophie from Rural Alive and Well Inc.Tasmania was presented with a cheque for $1,045.50 by the Agfest Chairman, Owen Woolley. Each year we donate 50c per ATM transaction from the Agfest ATMs and this year 2091 transaction were processed at the event.
Rural Alive and Well Inc. Tasmania were chosen for their work with the mental health and wellbeing programs that focus on suicide prevention by strengthening and supporting resilience, health and wellbeing in rural communities across Tasmania.
The Official Charity is selected for the event based on the applications we receive. This year we received 13 applicants and over the last 6 years our combined giving to charities is $12,580.
Applications to become the Agfest 2020 Official Charity Partner open on October 1, 2019 and close December 1, 2019. For more information on how to become the 2020 partner, please visit our website agfest.com.au/supported-charity
