JF Machinery praises the professionalism of Agfest

Established in 1997, JF Machinery operates out of Launceston, suppling heaving moving machinery for the construction and agricultural sector.

Owner Keith Johnson says he’s impressed with Rural Youth and how they put Agfest together.

JF Machinery provides Rural Youth with forklift machinery to set up and dissemble the Agfest grounds, mainly helping sites unload goods and services and help take down tents and marquees.

“We have Rural Youth members in our staff, so we are happy to support them however we can”.

Keith says the Agfest continues to improve every year.

“The distribution of power to every site, the toilet blocks and even things like the PA system has come a fair way”.

Keith is also aware of how the weather has its own part to play in Agfest.

“The grounds are still used for farming, so it’s sceptible to boggy patches and things of that nature”.

Keith continues to praise the expertise of Rural Youth.

“Last year’s conditions tested them but they pulled through pretty impressively”.

To meet Keith and admire premium equipment head to JF Machinery at site 324 on Third Avenue.
