Count on Emma to show pride on your lawn

Having a well-cared for lawn is an ambition for many Tasmanians.

Emma Stephens, from Pellows, Saws & Mowers, says there’s fierce competition amongst families over who has the best backyard.

“People are very proud of their lawns. They are very visually appealing and looking after them is a satisfying process. We set them up with the right equipment and the knowledge to get the lawn they want,” she says.

This family-owned business has been in the market for 30 years and has participated in Agfest for decades. You can find them on a big site at the corner of South Street and Third Avenue (S 43).

“It is an opportunity to showcase our business and our range, and for the staff to meet new customers and reconnect with old friends. We like the atmosphere, and networking with other people in the industry. We realized it is not just about these three days, the customers will visit us in the coming weeks and months. It’s about relationship building,” says Emma.

This year, Pellows, Saws & Mowers is offering tailored solutions for different budgets and needs: from push mowers to whipper snippers and ride-on mowers. They are also giving information on their repair and servicing offer.
