Environmentally-friendly milk full of flavour

Ashgrove has a shipping container set up to promote their new environmentally friendly 'Eco-milk', available in a number of flavours.

“For me this is my first Agfest, and it’s been amazing to see just how big and well-loved this event is,” says Ashgrove Team Member Kealan Farrell, who has recently arrived in Tasmania from Ireland.

“We’re big on farming and agriculture back home but we have nothing that brings everyone in the industry together like this,” he adds.

Aside from taking in the Quercus Park sights, Kealan and the rest of the team at Ashgrove Dairy are keen to show off their most climate conscious product yet.

“We’re set up here to showcase our ‘Eco-milk’, which is by far our most organic and environmentally wary product. We feed the cows algae which drastically reduces the methane emission level, all while not compromising the taste or flavour of the milk.

To celebrate their green ‘Eco-milk’, they are offering customers a choice of nine weird and wacky flavours.

“We have our nine ‘Eco-milk’ flavours for the public to try which include; cocoa bean chocolate, velvet vanilla, luscious strawberry, smooth caramel, okey-dokey cookies and cream, raspberry fields, hokey-pokey honeycomb, chilled-out choc mint and lamington dream,” Kealan says.

“We are also offering different Ashgrove multi-packets which are exclusive to Agfest.”

To catch Kealan and the Ashgrove team head to site S38 on South Street.
